Joined a brand that was still figuring out its voice and got involved across brand, content, and performance from day one. Helped shape how the brand showed up publicly, built the influencer programme from scratch, and kept 250+ campaigns moving with a 15-person team. Used web analytics and A/B testing to understand where users were losing interest, and worked with the team to fix it. Learned what it takes to run creative at scale without letting quality slip.

Worked directly with the VP of Finance and Operations on cross-functional initiatives spanning procurement, HR, and internal systems. Got a front-row view of how a large institution makes decisions. Identified process gaps, proposed improvements backed by data, and presented findings to senior leadership. The recommendations were adopted. Gained hands-on experience with SAP ERP and managing stakeholder communication across departments.

Took on full responsibility for the Rooms Division at one of ITC's flagship properties: a 90-person team, complete ownership of the guest experience, and accountability for the P&L. Worked to make the division run better without it showing on the guest side. Tightened cost structures, improved compliance, and built a team culture that showed in the audit scores. Received the ACE Award in FY24, an Outstanding appraisal rating, and direct recognition from the CEO.

Rotated across 8 ITC properties over two years, working through every major function in the building. Treated each rotation like it was the only one that mattered. Finished as Batch Topper among 40 trainees. Spent two years understanding how luxury hospitality really works: from operations and guest relations to revenue, F&B, and pre-opening. Got comfortable moving between functions quickly and figuring out what each one needed. While at ITC Kohenur, identified an opportunity to grow laundry as a revenue centre and self-initiated a study on it, entirely outside the regular scope of the trainee role.

During my trainee rotation at ITC Kohenur, I noticed laundry was being run purely as a cost centre rather than a revenue opportunity. Outside my regular responsibilities, I initiated a study to understand its real contribution margin, discount structures, and the untapped potential of the Lavanderia 2.0 initiative. The research covered data from across ITC's Luxury Collection properties and proposed a roadmap to grow per-room laundry revenue by 50%.

Time and Motion Study of Room Making Procedures

ITC Rajputana, Jaipur · Mentored by Mr. Shreel Shukla

Conducted under the mentorship of Mr. Shreel Shukla at ITC Rajputana, this study examined how room attendants across 5 ITC Luxury Collection properties (4 resort hotels and 1 business hotel) actually spend their time during a shift. The goal was to establish realistic staffing benchmarks grounded in real data, not assumptions, and to surface practical recommendations for manpower scheduling and efficiency.

Measured servicing times for occupied, vacant, and departure rooms across 5 hotels
Found that resort vs business hotel formats require fundamentally different staffing models
Established a credit-based benchmark of 11 rooms per attendant per shift
Recommended real-time room assignment systems to reduce wasted movement

Gluten Free Bakery and Confectionary Products

IHM Pusa, New Delhi · Final Year Dissertation

My undergraduate dissertation explored the awareness and availability of gluten-free bakery products in the Indian market at a time when the conversation around celiac disease was still very early-stage. I surveyed 10 bakeries in Delhi's Rajendra Place market to understand how producers were thinking about gluten-free, what products existed, how they were priced, and whether safety protocols like separate equipment and storage were being followed.

Surveyed 10 Delhi bakeries on awareness, product range, and pricing of gluten-free items
Found 80% of surveyed bakeries offered gluten-free products, but only half used specific baking methods
Identified a significant awareness gap: only 50% of bakers knew what gluten-free meant
Mapped market geography and argued for North India as the primary growth opportunity
